Ad in collaboration with DP Saddlery LP and Deuber&Partner If you follow me on Instagram, you might have noticed something super exciting just happened - my tack from Deuber&Partner just came in, and it's hard to describe properly how in awe I am! Let's take a closer look at what was delivered to our front … Continue reading DP El Campo, first impressions

Happy 5th anniversary to this now world-famous photo of a silly Lillen 🙌🏻🎉 Added two more photos I’m pretty sure you haven’t seen before too! Swipe for more 🙉 When I shared this photo wayyy back, it blew up my account to the point where I had to turn off notifications, because my phone was constantly plinging and it drained the battery empty 🐴 I haven’t been able to turn them back on 😂 It’s always fun when I spot this photo shared on repost accounts, there’s always a bunch of dudes making fun sexual comments about this, since he’s getting a tummy scratch and they have a wild imagination paired with no knowledge about horse anatomy lol. I sometimes wonder if they think they are making unique jokes, or if they know they are a literal echo chamber of each other 😂 Sorry, ladies, for the prude imagery 🙋🏼‍♀️ It’s not my fault it went viral! 🤷🏼‍♀️
{annonse/ad} GIVEAWAY for my Norwegian followers 🙌🏻🇳🇴
It’s done! 😍 Brego’s new snaffle bridle, all handmade from scratch to finished product 😁 There’s nothing about this making it a “snaffle bridle” except the fact that my snaffle is the only silver bit I have, and since I’m allergic to mixing metal colours... better make a whole xx-large bridle for that bit 😇 He looks so handsome! What do you think? 😍
{annonse/ad} 🌱☀️ The handsomest boys dressed in matching bridles! I’m often asked about these - they are the Soft Feel Baroque Deluxe bridles by @dp_saddlery (US+) @deuber.und.partner (Europe) custom made to fit Lillen! And if it fits Lillen, it fits Brego too 🌝 These bridles are made to order, and you can pick between a large selection of colours to make sure the bridle match your saddle. The design is also available as a double bridle, and with bitless options - both a sidepull and a hackamore, for you who prefer to work without a bit 🙏🏻
Walking into the weekend like 🤗 Being home all day, every day, for like months make it a little hard to “feel” the weekend, but I am plowing through my second assignment this week in an attempt to give myself an actual weekend 😍 I have some exciting things going on, a delivery from @skinnlaaven is due today, I will try to finish editing the clipping video (a tad overdue but hey that’s fine), hopefully working my way towards some exciting announcements if I’m able to... yeah! I’m pretty sure I have Easter holiday next week too, can’t complain about that 😇
Trotting off 🙏🏻 Brego and I (with amazing help from the far too patient @stall.nova) have started to figure things out in the arena. From his “NO” state of mind, to his “I will do as you ask because I have to”, to “you know what? This is actually completely fine!” 😍 He’s still not a dressage horse, and I never planned for him to be one - but being able to train my horse in an arena is important. It’s a great space to practice communication, precision, gain some strength and improve together. If your horse lets you 🙃 Brego is a very practical horse, so doing one circle makes sense. Doing two circles?? Why? We already did one! 😂🥲 One of my philosophies when training is that the training itself is supposed to feel good. I want the balance and the power itself to be a reward. I want my horse to WANT to train with me, because I can help him feel strong and fierce. With Brego, it’s always been a struggle to get to the point where he’s so ridden “through” that I can give him this feeling. During our last few arena sessions, he has given me this opportunity though, and it feels as if it has opened his eyes a little 🥰 Thank you for letting me teach you how to use your body, Brego ❤️
Today is hoofcare day! Wish our backs good luck 😂 All three boys are barefoot at the moment, and will get a nice little trim, and we’ll re-measure their hooves ❤️ It’s fun to keep track of how their size changes as the hooves settle from a shod shape to a functional barefoot shape 😊 We shoe the small horses usually during winter, as we find it far safer to have good studs and snow soles in our climate, but we also think a good barefoot hoof is important. Diego isn’t so sure about this whole barefoot thing, Brego has hooves of steel, and Lillen knows nothing else 😂 Is your horse barefoot, or shod? Perhaps only shod on its front legs? Or perhaps shod in periods like we do? 😊
{annonse/ad} Just Lillen admiring our tack from @deuber.und.partner and @dp_saddlery 🐴🌾 I’m trying to lift my bum up enough so you can see the tooling, but alas, you’ll have to zoom in! 🙏🏻 Our saddle, El Campo, has stunning flower tooling - but if you take a closer look, Lillen’s custom sized SoftFeel bridle has tooling, our Lillen sized SoftFeel reins have tooling... and even the girth! 🥺😍 This set is absolutely stunning and we love love love it 🥰
